Stick with me on this- I promise it’s going somewhere.

7 years ago today, I got what most refer to as their heart horse. The horse that shaped me into really and truly the person I am today. So many trips, states, miles, life milestones, dreams, college, and everything in between. Her name is Kitty, and Kitty has been one of the many blessings from God in my life.
Looking back, if I could tell little me about her, she’d say no way. No way your daddy let you have your own horse, no way you’ve been to Texas rodeoing, no way you lived in 2 different states on a College Rodeo Scholarship. Guess what? I did.
If I could talk to little me now, there’s so many things I’d tell her. I think the one thing I would want to say the most is KEEP GOING. Don’t give up, don’t let the losses and the tears get you down. Don’t quit. I think the little girl in the first picture would be proud.
Kitty was the first person (well, animal) I told about my business idea. She might not can talk, but I know in my heart she was excited. From a little girl with big dreams, to a now business owner and future educator who spends every weekend free on the rodeo road. It brings tears to my eyes to think about all the ways God has blessed my life, and all the things I would’ve missed if I would’ve let the tears win in the past.

With that being said- life is hard. We get through it with the people (or animals) we surround ourselves with.

You’ve got this girl. Don’t quit. Keep going. It’s going to get easier and you’re EXACTLY where you need to be. We are proud of you! ✨
