HeeBee Geebs (pronounced like 'Heebee Jeebies' but the second word is shortened to 'Geebs') is a small NH company that sells jewelry that is handmade from REAL flower petals! This jewelry is created through a unique process that was developed by our founder, so you won't see anything like it anywhere else! There are few flowers that work with our methods, but the flower types that do work are : Su

nflowers, Black-Eyed Susans, Pansies, Daffodils & Narcissus, Cosmos, and Coreopsis. We add more varieties as we discover them! We are honored to create little rays of sunshine that are true pieces of nature �

Coreopsis means "always cheerful" in the Victorian book the 'Language of Flowers' 🥹 different flowers had different special meanings to them and meant certain special messages for their recipients 😍

We can see why Coreopsis have this special meaning 🥰

It was more magical and beautiful than could have ever been imagined ✨️❤️

Community editor Rachel Wachman first discovered flower petal jewelry back in June, when she walked past Hillary Flanders' stall at Concord's Market Days Festival. What a novel concept, preserving flower petals to be worn as earrings or necklaces. She'd never seen anything like it before, especially with the bright yellow sunflower hues sparkling in the sunlight. Rachel knew she needed to learn more.

This edition of Around Concord Magazine explores Flanders' journey as an artist and introduces readers to other creative members of the greater Concord community and more.
