💛Important Announcement💛
After much consideration and hours of “pros/cons”, I’ve decided to close my shop this Mon. the 22nd. I’ve been offered a job with another apparel company and I believe it’s a smart move for myself and my family. 🥰
Thank you so, so much for all the support and encouragement through the years, you all don’t know what that has meant to me! 🙏🏼
I’m continuing to take orders through the weekend but after that, it’s peace out! ✌🏼
Looking forward to the journey ahead, y’all take it easy and be well! 😘

Happy Wednesday friends! 🥰 I wanted to share a quick update on orders ~ my supplier for the organic cotton has been swamped with orders since the restock and has already sold out of several colors! 🌈 I’m trying to stay on top of it and keep my listings up to date with availability, so bear with me! Also, the turnaround time on orders is currently 2-3 weeks. Thanks for your patience but most of all thanks for supporting my small business! 🙏🏼

It’s been a while since I’ve done a “meet the maker” post so here’s a little bit about me! 💛
I’m married to my pumpkin (14 years in May!) 💍💋
I have two beautiful boys (4 & 2), both of them I was blessed to birth naturally at home 🏠
I love CrossFit and we have an amazing garage gym! 💪🏼
I’ve been sewing for 25+ years with half of those years sewing for the public ~ there’s a big difference between sewing for yourself and sewing as a way to draw income! 😉 I’ve tried to learn as much as I can in my field; I’ve worked for companies making custom window treatments, wedding gowns & formal wear, quilting, and everything in between! I also used to teach sewing lessons which was probably the job I loved the most! 🥰
I love Jesus, camping, creating, and laughing! 💖

If you’ve ordered from me within the past couple of months, you may have noticed that I stopped sewing size tags in the items. Feel free to celebrate your own unique size & shape! 🥳💖 Several things prompted me to do this; 1️⃣ I just like the minimalist feel without extra little tags rubbing the skin and 2️⃣ about half the orders I make are custom sized/between sizes... so what’s the point? Just be you without the labels!! 😘

Saw this on page this morning and had to share! 🌼 I feel like I’m going through lots of personal growth right now as I’ve been asking myself tough questions and seeking my place/purpose in the world. I’ve had a few “a-ha” moments that have been valuable and much needed; mostly within the realm of self love. 🥰 I feel like I’ve tried so hard (for at least a decade y’all, ever since high school 😐) to fit in somewhere, anywhere. The beauty I’ve discovered is the freedom of not fitting in and just being me! I’m not exactly an athlete, not as artsy fartsy as folks in my neighboring town of Boulder; but a blend of both. I think differently than probably 90% of the people I interact with, I have intense emotions and don’t shy away from dark feelings. And guess what? Although these things might classify me as an “outsider”, it doesn’t mean I can’t show myself love and acceptance in areas that society has deemed unlovable. 💜

Reaching for spring! 🌸 These next 3 months (Jan - March) are the hardest for me mentally than any other time during the year. It’s cold out so I tend to stay inside more (which sucks), nothing is colorful and the landscape seems so bare! 🙁 Well I’m determined to battle SAD head on this year! 👊🏼 I’m going to bundle up myself and the boys to get outside more, wear bright colors that make me happy 🌈, or at the very least I’ll sit in the sunshine that comes through the windows and give thanks for this day! ☀️🙏🏼
