I'm back! After taking some time off in the New Year and doing some traveling, I'm ready to get sewing again.
It's time for car seat coolers! Colorful fleece covers two large ice packs. With snaps on the openings, it's easy to take them out if you need to repurpose them! Handles make it easy to carry.
What is a car seat cooler? Simply keep in in the freezer (I put my in the one in my garage so it's always ready) and take it with you when you go out. When you take baby OUT of the seat, put the car seat cooler IN. It will keep the seat, and especially the metal buckles, nice and cold, without sweating (fleece is very water-resistant) and getting the seat wet. When you are done with your errands, just take the cooler off, put baby back in, and they get a nice cold ride home.
I use large ice packs so you have hours of time before they melt. I've had mine in the car for over 8 hours and it was still cold!
Car seat coolers are $20, include the large ice packs, and can be made in any color/pattern of fleece you want. I have lots here, and if I don't have it, I can get it for you (some trademarked prints may cost extra depending on the price at the store).
Just message me to get started!
