✨ A little update from the Abandoned Cakes kitchen ✨
If you’ve been with us for a while, you know Abandoned Cakes has grown in ways we never imagined — from our very first batches of melts and candles to full collections inspired by seasons, stories, and the cozy moments we all chase. 🕯️💛

Behind the scenes, we’ve been building something even bigger… a home where ALL of our favorite things can live together. A place for the scents you love and the lifestyle pieces we’re just as obsessed with.

That home? Ember + Edit.
And tomorrow… the Ember + Edit website officially launches — which means our full holiday candle collection will be released there first. 🎄✨

If you want to be the very first to shop the new scents, make sure you’re following and ready to dive in when the site goes live.

Don’t worry — this page isn’t going anywhere. We’re just growing, evolving, and finding a new home base for all the cozy things we create. And trust me… the next chapter is a good one. 🤍

We’ve been a little quiet lately, and we’re sorry for disappearing. Recently, we found out that the building we’ve been in has been sold, and we’ve been in the process of figuring out what that means for Abandoned Cakes.

The good news: this isn’t goodbye. 💕 We’ll be relocating and baking up a new plan for our next chapter. More details to come soon, and we can’t wait to share them with you!

A little walk down memory lane — back to my very first “collection.”
It was a bakery line poured into the cutest little yogurt jars. They were simple, adorable, smelled amazing… and, yes, way more affordable 😅

Recently, I’ve had a few custom wholesale orders in those jars, and it brought me right back to the beginning: one kind of wax, fragrance oils from all over, and quite possibly the worst wicks I’ve ever used.

It made me pause and think about how far Abandoned Cakes has come in nearly five years. I’m endlessly grateful for what I’ve learned, and so thankful for every ounce of support we’ve received. But I’ll be honest — somewhere along the way, I fell a little out of love with the day-to-day.

This isn’t goodbye. This isn’t me walking away.
This is me going back to what lit the spark in the first place — the creativity, the freedom, the late-night wax pours, the scent blending, the imperfect and unpolished moments. The wins and the failures. The purpose.

Things might start to look a little different around here… but they’ll still smell just as amazing. Get ready for a reset. 🕯️✨
