I'm Wendy... thrifter, hunter, picker, junque-er, photographer, editor, and social media specialist for Buttercup Lane Vintage. Buttercup Lane Vintage is all about my love of objects from the past, their stories and finding new homes for them! It's a love that started as a teenager when I stepped into my first thrift store. At first, it was strictly clothing, purses, jewelry... but it quickly grew
to encompass anything that was unique and sparked my imagination, thinking of their possible past lives. Suddenly, these weren't just objects, they were cherished memories! Fast forward a couple decades and I'm still envisioning those past lives every time I shop (or "rescue" as my husband sarcastically calls it) but I'm also envisioning their new lives in their new homes with you! And I get to help you find each other ♥
In my shop, you'll find lots of drinkware, quirky planters and unique decor pieces as I love finding fun, one-of-a-kind ways to add a little character to everyday spaces. I'm particularly fond of brass figures, bright colors, natural materials and mixing styles - Victorian with Mid-Century? Art Deco with Contemporary? Throw caution to the wind!
