This cuff was born from a 30-year-old memory of a moment outside Taos, New Mexico . . .
I think it's kind of a hybrid between freeform Pe**te and bead embroidery. The cab is beaded as on a beading background and then added to the cuff at a certain point (about half way through the cuff background beading). No pattern. I am "composing" as I go, just picking up the beads as the scream at me "use me!!!!". But I think I faithfully portrayed a long ago, naturally induced "high" when I was watching the twilight come over the mesas.
"Enchanted Mesa", an original, one-of-a-kind artwork for your wrist that will bring only the best attention, which is my dedicated purpose. With this beaded cuff, I satisfied that memory and brought it into physical form. I was happy about it when I worked on it and I'm happy with the outcome.
