Globe Wernicke file cabinet up for sale! And would look SO handsome in your office, or anywhere. Where would you put it? This one holds 3x5” index cards and is made of solid wood with an adjustable metal drawer and probably dates to the 30s, although globe has been making high end office furniture since the late 1800s. Globe Wernicke is particularly known for the book cases with glass doors we see so often. Link to purchase in bio!

Vintage handmade beaded purse now available! There’s a mirror and three pockets inside. A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a man who was selling off his parents’ estate after his father had passed and he made the decision to take his mother into his own home. I never met her, but I sure feel like I did. She’s from Japan and brought many items to the states with her when she married a military man. This was one of her items and I have many others to sort through as well. Many from Japan and other Mid Century gems. I love finding items with a story❣️

🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩 = How many donuts I ate for breakfast 🤦‍♀️. If you didn’t catch it in my stories, we made our first ever batch yesterday and it took waaaaaay longer than the recipe indicated for the dough to rise, but we had fresh donuts at 7:30 last night! They were light, fluffy and delicious 😋 The kids wanted nothing to do with them and I had to force my husband to try one. What is wrong with my family? 😂
Anyway, this beautiful studio pottery vase is available now! Signed by Bobbye Love Runnels, who began making pottery in Bellevue, WA in the 70s!

Funny story - I see these listed on Etsy all the time as incense burners, so when I acquired this, I thought that’s what it was! I had to try it out first to see how it worked and I’m happy I did. Because the incense kept burning out! What was I doing wrong? Are my incense bad? Is there something I’m missing? I was googling and googling for hours and trying different remedies. Maybe the air flow wasn’t good enough so I added rice in the bottom. Nope still burned out. Maybe you have to use a stick incense and not a cone. Nope that burned out too. Keep the lid off? Nope. I FINALLY found an image with a description - IT’S A ROSEWATER SPRINKLER!!!! 🤦‍♀️🤣 And now I have a strong urge to try and make my own rosewater and sprinkle it all over my house as an air freshener and natural mood enhancer 😄. This is available in my shop so you can sprinkle your house with rosewater too!
