You asked - we brought it back. Again. We had to honestly because the amount of asking was a little overwhelming in a good way. It’s sort of surreal when there is a true fan favorite, a collective thought of “this is the best one”. It’s not something we can or care to argue. You say what’s goes once we put it into the world and so consider us humbled to be able to release another rendition of the eTceTera State Fair Corndog. This year it’s featuring in a print on a super-heavyweight 8oz longsleeve in Black only. But we felt like that was a bit of cliffhanger, and then what about the real ones who grabbed the pullover last year or the OG T-shirt year one?? They need something to pair and level-up and that’s where the golf cap came into play and has been immediately effective, not to mention a callback to the dad cap era that helped us grow in 907. We did a White run of socks this year too, plenty to pair with the long-sleeve.

We doubled down on two elements here and the results are better than we expected. Both animal focused and collage style graphics are a heavy influence for us this year at the WA State Fair. We started making animals graphics and couldn’t stop. There are infinite eTc ideas but when you talk about something as relatable as the human relationship with animals, somehow you open up more possibilities. Naturally the colors pop because of the nature of fur and animal skin in general. It’s colorful and has blended textures and patterns. It stirs up ideas of some really good cut n sew down the line. We might have a Doja Cat moment if we can agree on a final edit. Who’s saying no to the cow print Anorak?! Aye - we can dream can’t we??

Upset the setup!! Word to the Alma Mater. We are SO back and it’s the greatest feeling. Today we stormed the fairgrounds and got to work. The energy was high and the setup is a little different this year. But the flags are still flying. We might change it up every time just to keep you on your toes, who knows?? Same spot though!! Remember that. Boss man Jeremy and the “O” JWash made sure we got it dialed for day one Sept 4th. That’s Friday and we are excited to see everyone. You’ll find us hangin on the couch like we usually do politic’n and we know you peeped the Catan 👀. So make sure to send your folks our way. We have some fun moments planned and you never know which day it will be, see you soon, stay ready.

Last year informed us of several things we didn’t know for sure but had considered. Flags help. Branded bags help. Blankets galore. But the thing that surprised us in the best way was the reaction to our outerwear; a wool two-tone varsity jacket. It was well received, really well, we sold out halfway through the second week. It was an honor to see longtime Fair employees wearing the varsity and beaming with joy. There’s a point of pride with our pieces because they are limited but it’s really the quality. Last year, when folks were bold enough to approach the booth and touch the product we could see the spark and wheels begin to turn. The satin style bomber we produced this year levels up the delicacy and nods back to our first 5 years as eTceTera, when satin bombers were the belle of the ball. The sleeve hits are different from last year and the feature colorway is a vibrant green. The bold WASHINGTON ties it altogether and all of us together.

We see these in the wild more than anything else and we know why. It’s the one that has the most representation of the fair-goer. And in that way it’s commemorative. Which is why the other two versions of this have been the most successful since our time as Fair partners and collaborators. It’s a graphic that says I went to the fair and I know eTc all in the same breath. One thing is certain they will be gone before we pack it up on Sept 27th. Our favorite part of the appeal with the Landmarks T are the conversations that surround it and spark in front of the booth just because it exists. Great motivation to keep it in rotation.

This is a grail shirt internally. No we can’t hold this one for you. It’s already barely fair as is. This is one of the bangers that let us know our Fair family trusts us to represent us all in a meaningful fashion. Animals have always been a huge part of the Fair lore, three in particular for us. The pig, the cow and the horse. Umi will say a duck 😂. Farm life is both heritage and lifestyle to Puyallup. We were little humans when these were introduced and they are pivotal to imagery that means being on the fairgrounds with the family. Not to mention the amazing art around the Fairgrounds making them more iconic. Look at em - just hangin. It’s an image that says everything about being with the your people and enjoying that all in itself. And THAT is the spirit of the Fair we know, remember and hold dear. Our only mission is to keep Doin it and Doin it well 😉. IYKYK.

Annual releases?!?! Who are we?!!? eTceTera was suppose to be the extra but we turned into the entree that comes with us all the excess. We are an independent brand pacing ourselves to become heritage on the shelves and closets of our region. Last year we tested some veeery interesting waters and learned that our satire was not only appreciated but welcomed. There was/is a clear understanding that it’s homage and nothing more. We touch what we love.

This year we touched some time portal type energy and pulled artwork from the past in an official capacity. The craze. We also saw how welcomed cut n sew was at the WA STATE FAIR last year and it gave us the confidence to produce more. So the fleece offering is extremely wearable and it’s some of our best yet when it comes to mixing both cultures - the Fair and eTceTera graphically. The tie dye vintage is sure to go fast so don’t hesitate. For our ROYL collectors please don’t miss this one; it has matching socks. The headwear offering has expanded this year and although we don’t do remakes we do remixes that you will adore. Although some items are in more limited supply than others.

It’s time to Do The Puyallup and there’s only one way!! You can imagine our excitement, it’s the same feeling you used to get the week or night before you made the trip with your family or that certain group of best-friends or maybe that special interest. That’s how we have begun to approach this yearly. About midway through our second year of this partnership we realized how important it was to simply be at the booth together - sharing the access as a team. It’s a bonding experience we didn’t expect - which is interesting considering we know WA State Fair is a bonding experience for most families and peer groups. It was a conquest to us originally and then a dream made reality through common understanding.

This year we are pushing for awareness in a new way, everyone seems to know we’re at the fair but WHERE?! That’s been the constant question and a new challenge for us. Last year it was flag and banners that helped our visibility. But we have been taught how peer to peer learning can spell things out better than hearing it from elsewhere. So thats our ask this year. Es**rt your family, es**rt the homies, chaperone your grandparents there, leave bread crumbs from your boyfriend, or rose petals for wifey. Be a guiding light.
