The Tacoma City Council proclaimed June 27, 2026, as Chamorro Day during the June 23 Council Meeting. Chamorro Day celebrates the past, present, and future of Chamorro culture while ensuring that traditions, language, and cultural practices continue to thrive for future generations. The Chamorro Day Festival will take place on June 27 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at Mt. Tahoma High School in Tacoma.
