My [mom] obsession with is at an all-time high after this weekend’s haul.

🪥I will be the first to emphatically admit our grout is atrocious but this electric scrubber saved me from taking a sledgehammer to the tile. Now this buys some time until we’re ready for new floors. At only $9.99 I didn’t expect much out of this scrubber but I did our entire kitchen and the attachment maintained its quality. I will be going back to aldi this week for a backup!
🥐 These croissant buns remind me of the bread on double bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich. If you know me, you know this is the only item I’m confident ordering at Starbucks. Meal-prepping some breakfast sandwich dupes for the week 😋

Not surprising, Charlotte detested them at first (check out our story for her reaction). Then after she finished her hard boiled egg and toast she ate most of mommy’s and then some of her own. Adding a book to the breakfast table helped 🤪

🍗 BBQ Chicken
🥔 mashed potatoes
🌽 corn

Proficient chewers version:
🥬 salad with corn, black beans, jicama, carrots, tomato, avocado

Thai Peanut Quinoa Bowls

D🍴NNER

This recipe was more involved then I would normally commit to on a weeknight but it was a hit so I’ll definitely make it again (plus the sauce was delicious)!

Charlotte’s version:
🌟 boiled all the quinoa in bone broth for extra flavor & nutrients
🌟 chopped and blanched (quickly boil) the carrots - mixed them and the chopped edamame in the quinoa
🌟 omitted the chopped peanuts since there was already peanut butter

Things Mommy would do differently for the proficient chewers:
❕ omit the chopped peanuts (was just overkill to me but dada liked them)
❕leave edamame whole
❕probably make it with rice or season quinoa better
❕tiny bit less chili paste
