Hello everyone, finally getting settled in our new home in Hunter Green in New Tampa, FL. The weather is beautiful here and the pool is so inviting. My Avante quilting machine did not make the move very well. SO, I upgraded to a new Amara Handi Quilter with Pro stitcher plus. It is a great improvement and stitches beautifully. I'm getting local business for finishing quilts and some Minnesota customers are sending quilt tops by flat rate mail. I've joined a quilt guild and enjoyed meeting new people that share my love for fabric. Also getting involved with Quilts of Valor group, which is very active here with so many retired military folks. I miss all of my Minnesota friends and customers. Wish you all could be here with me. Announcement: I have been selected to make quilts for a fundraiser for Haiti Companions. Each tee shirt quilt is 60 x 90 and cost $450.00. The Haiti Companions get $100.00 for each quilt made.
