MONTGOMERY — The Alabama Department of Health reported a record number of COVID-19 cases over this past weekend as the virus continues to spread throughout the state. On Friday, the number reached 1.075 daily positive tests. That number sunk to 976 on Saturday and shot back up to 1,014 on Sunday.
