At this year’s Busworld Exhibitions, the show highlighted the innovation and creativity shaping today’s bus industry-from advanced technology and design to elevated passenger comfort.

A standout moment was our collaboration with MAN Truck & Bus SE, where Ultrafabrics was selected to support a sustainable interior concept that blends durability, comfort, and responsible material innovation.

The concept featured natural materials like cork and h**p, alongside sustainable solutions from Herbert KNEITZ GmbH, AUNDE Achter & Ebels GmbH, and Ultrafabrics. Seeing it in person was a powerful reminder of how thoughtful material choices can enhance both the passenger experience and environmental performance.

Congratulations to Marife Aleman (University of Florida) for her sensory-inclusive spaces for neurodivergent individuals, and Leah Gasson (Loughborough University) for her biodegradable bridalwear that blossoms into new life.
