Carl Muller passed on Muller Boat Company to Captain Bob Muller in 1959. In 1961, Dennis Raedeke joined the company after marrying Bob's daughter Cam, and worked side by side with Captain Bob for many years building Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours to what it is today, and we're thrilled to be celebrating their hard work with you through our 120th Season!

What started out as a summer job for young Carl Muller, turned into a 5th Generation Operation on the St. Croix River.

Help us celebrate with our Anniversary Cruises! The next one is coming up on Sunday, June 14th with one at 1pm and one at 3pm. If you can't make that date, there will be many more this summer! Sunday, July 19th (Wannigan Days Weekend), Sunday, August 23rd, and September 13th! We'll have live music on and a chance to meet members of the Muller/Raedeke/Frishmon Family on the River Rock Patio!

Today I am sad! I have and always will live my life finding the best in everything and everyone. I have been called gullible, naive, innocent, etc and that is okay. We run our business the same. Trusting and loving on our customers who become friends. We have really been lucky and grateful that people are mostly good. But someone stole not just a thing from the yard, they stole from something I had looked years and years for and when a friend sold me her, I was skipping around for months, so happy. I love her. But someone stole her name right off her. FORD. Why? I just don’t understand it. So if by chance you are reading this and you accidentally borrowed those letters, could you please bring them back and put them in a bag on the porch. No questions asked. I just want FORDEY’s name back. Thanks.

At The Dalles House Supper Club, we deeply believe in the impact and importance of using locally sourced products whenever possible. Supporting local farmers, producers, and craftspeople strengthens our community while bringing incredible flavor and quality to your table.

Today we’d like to shine a spotlight on Boyer’s Sugar Bush, a family-owned maple syrup producer with roots that run deep in the St. Croix Valley.

Fun fact: Nate Boyer and Sonya Fry both attended Osceola High School……making this partnership even more special.

Nate’s maple story began generations ago. His family first started tapping maple trees in the late 1800s with his great-great-grandfather, Mork. Today, Nate continues that tradition with an uncompromising commitment to quality.

Unlike many producers, Nate taps only sugar maple trees, resulting in sap with naturally higher sugar content. He still cooks over a traditional wood-fired evaporator, carefully filters his sap twice, and refuses to use reverse osmosis systems to speed up production.

His philosophy is simple: slower is better.

The longer cooking process creates deeper caramelization, richer flavor, and the complex maple character that earned Boyer’s Sugar Bush the Champion Prize at the 2021 St. Croix Chateau Maple Fest!!! Congratulations Nate!

You’ll find Boyer’s maple syrup featured throughout our kitchen and behind our bar, most famously in our signature Maple Rye Old Fashioned, where that rich local maple flavor shines in every sip.

When you dine with us, you’re not just supporting our team—you’re supporting local families, local traditions, and local craftsmanship.
