It has been my joy to help keep the magic of Christmas alive for elf fans near and far. However, in order to spend more time with my family during the holiday season, I have made the difficult decision to close my business. Thank you for the honor and privilege of being a part of your family’s Christmases the past 7 years.

One of my biggest motivations is to help keep the magic and wonder of Christmas alive and well.

You can't protect them forever.
But, you can try to keep the magic alive.

A few days ago, I was out shopping with Ellie and Max, and we ended up wandering through the Christmas aisle. The kids were thrilled, wide-eyed at all the decorations, until Ellie’s face suddenly fell. She’d spotted a package that read, “Fun Ideas Parents Can Use for Christmas Elf on the Shelf.” She stared at it, and I could see the wheels turning as she began to piece it all together.

Ellie looked up at me, eyes filling with tears. “Mom… is Santa real?” In that moment, I felt her world shift as the magic she’d held onto slipped away right before my eyes.

That night, after Max was asleep, Ellie and I had a heart-to-heart. She was heartbroken, feeling like she’d lost something special. I held her close and told her, “The magic of Christmas is more than Santa or an elf. It’s about kindness, love, and bringing joy to others. Those things are real, and they’re yours to carry forward, even as you grow.” ❤️

Ellie took it in and, to my surprise, decided to keep believing anyway—not because she was fooled, but because she wanted to. She became our little “Keeper of Magic,” determined to keep the magic alive for her brother and for herself. I saw her setting up our elf the next morning with a smile, making her own kind of magic.✨

Kids need this magic, this choice to believe in wonder, especially in a world that often tries to rush them into growing up. So, if they choose to hold onto wonder and joy, let’s let them. They’ll have plenty of time to know how things work—but for now, they deserve a little magic. 🎄🎄
