These words spoke to me by this morning in thinking why our society has gotten so messed up to think that being a mother is a downgrade from having a “career”, and that you’ve given up or lost yourself when you decided to stay home and raise a family. Like you’re ONLY “empowered” if you decide to leave you’re kids and go to “work” full time and being a mom is so old fashion and suppressive. I’m sorry, what? Have you been responsible for literally molding and shaping the next generation, teaching them to be good, respectful, responsible humans? Have you been responsible for someone else’s physical and mental growth? Have you ever had a job that’s 24/7... on top of life? Yeah... it’s really no big deal. Yeah I’m JUST a mom.. Mamas... you are ENOUGH. Rant over 🎤 💥

I had someone say to me the other day “I’m just a mum, remind me which job on the planet is more” Being a mum is one of the most rewarding jobs any woman can sustain. Our daily life as a mother is a JOB more than we believe it or not. Think about everything you do in a day being a mum...... were never NOT busy. We do everything we can to comfort our little babes and do our best to keep them happy day in and day out. So before you sit there and tell yourself that “I’m just a mum” No, you aren’t just a “mum” Our jobs are so important, empowering and rewarding. Even on the days you feel down on yourself, pick yourself back up and remind yourself why you’re here, that’s right, remember? That little human, looking up at you, giving you a little smile after you’ve given them a feed or that feeling you get after you’ve dressed them fresh for the day (before you change their clothes another 105 times 🤣) We are important and our roles are like no other. At times we may not feeling ‘worthy’ or like we’re doing ‘much’ but guess what, you’re raising that little human like no one else can and they love you back just as much for it 🧡
