You might not feel like you’re doing a great job.

Maybe the house isn’t as clean as you’d like.
Maybe your to-do list keeps getting longer.
Maybe you didn’t get everything done this week.
Maybe you’re second-guessing a decision you made.
Maybe you’re just tired.

But pause for a second and look at what you did do. đŸ€

You showed up.

You kept going.

You cared.

You tried.

You loved.

And sometimes, that is more than enough. đŸ«¶

We put so much pressure on ourselves to do everything perfectly that we forget how much effort the everyday things actually take.

So before you head into the weekend, give yourself some credit.

You never know what someone is carrying when you meet them.

The mom smiling in the waiting room might be anxious.
The mom who seems confident might be questioning everything.
The mom who has everything planned might be terrified it won’t go that way.
The mom who seems quiet might simply be exhausted.

So let’s be gentle with each other. đŸ€

Instead of:

“You should
”

Try:

“What do you need?”

Instead of:

“I would never
”

Try:

“Tell me about your experience.”

Instead of judging someone’s choices


Offer encouragement.

Because sometimes people don’t need another opinion.

They need someone who makes them feel safe enough to say:

“I’m struggling.”

“I’m scared.”

“I don’t know what I’m doing.”

“I just need someone to listen.”

Let’s build the kind of community where moms don’t have to pretend they’re okay to belong. 🌿

Where we can have different experiences, different choices, different birth stories, and different ways of doing things

🌾 Wednesday reminder, Mama


Sometimes preparing for a baby can make it feel like your whole identity is about to change.

And in some ways, it will. đŸ€

You’ll become someone’s mama.
Your priorities may shift.
Your routines may look different.
Your heart may grow in ways you never expected.

But you aren’t disappearing.

You are still the woman with dreams, interests, hopes, friendships, goals, and a life outside of motherhood. đŸ«¶

Motherhood doesn’t mean you have to stop being you.

You can love being a mama and miss parts of your old routine.

You can be completely in love with your baby and need time for yourself.

You can be grateful and overwhelmed.

You can grow into a new version of yourself without letting go of everything that made you who you are.

You’re not losing yourself. You’re becoming. 🌿

And maybe the goal isn’t to find the “old you” again


Maybe it’s to get to know the new you, too.

Sometimes we’re so busy preparing for what’s next that we forget to enjoy what’s happening right now. đŸ€

We count down to the next appointment.
Then the next milestone.
Then the next trimester.
Then meeting baby.

We’re making lists, buying things, preparing the nursery, thinking about birth, and trying to be ready for everything that comes next.

And yes—preparing is important.

But don’t forget to pause along the way. đŸ«¶

Take the picture.

Save the little ultrasound.

Notice the tiny kicks.

Enjoy the excitement.

Let yourself be amazed by what your body is doing.

Laugh about the silly moments.

Talk to your baby.

Enjoy the quiet moments before life changes.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize


you weren’t just waiting for the next chapter. You were living this one. 🌿

You don’t have to rush through the season you’re in just to get to the one you’re waiting for.

đŸ€ Sunday Reflection đŸ€

Today at church, we talked about Mark 1, and one thing that really stood out to me was how Jesus met people right where they were.

They didn’t have everything figured out.

They weren’t perfectly prepared.

They didn’t have their lives completely together.

And Jesus still called them, cared for them, healed them, and invited them to follow Him. đŸ«¶

I think there’s something beautiful about remembering that as we walk through pregnancy and motherhood, too.

You don’t have to have the perfect plan.

You don’t have to know exactly what you’re doing.

You don’t have to have everything prepared before you come to God.

You can come exactly as you are. đŸ€

Tired.
Worried.
Excited.
Overwhelmed.
Hopeful.
Unsure.

He meets you there.

And just like we need community around us, we need reminders that we don’t have to carry everything alone. Sometimes faith looks like trusting God with the things we can’t control and taking the next step with the people He’s placed around us. 🌿

So this Sunday, wherever you are in your journey:

Come as you are.
Give yourself grace.
Trust God with what you can’t control.
And remember—you don’t have to walk this road alone. đŸ€

Sometimes the hardest parts of pregnancy and motherhood are the things nobody sees.

The constant planning.
The worrying.
The appointments you’re keeping track of.
The decisions you’re making.
The things you remember for everyone else.
The “what ifs” running through your mind.
The pressure to make everything perfect.

You might look like you’re doing just fine while your brain is running through a hundred things at once. đŸ«¶

So if you’re feeling tired today, remember:

Rest isn’t something you have to earn.

If you’re overwhelmed, you don’t have to wait until you’re completely burned out to ask for help.

And if someone you love seems a little quieter, more tired, or more overwhelmed than usual
