Started in 2009 out of the Creative imagination in an east new york, brooklyn apartment of Cintron "GV "Flowers, GV began cutting up his old clothes for the fabric (when he was '12 years old) to redesign and stitch together new pieces. T

hrough this use of re-imagining and reinventing KGKW was born. Inspired by hip hop, Hipster and Art culture, blended with the luxurious details of high end fashion design. He first started small creating key chains, pins and buttons but quickly evolved to Snapback hats, bags for males and females, jackets, wallets jewelry accessories and more with plans to go into luxurious High fashion . Determined to build a career in the cluttered fashion metropolis of new york. GV approached childhood friend/Entertainment Mogul Ramell "Marvel Dash" Bridges who was impressed by what he saw and the potential of KGKW he agreed to invest and run the marketing aspects of the business. A partnership forged and financial backing established but also more courage than experience the two focused on building the brand from nothing to a force in both the mainstream and urban markets Place.
