I always like to try to fit all my soft sculptures on one page in Layouts before a show. It’s like a very soft and specific game of Tetris. These guys will all be The Woodlands Arts Council tomorrow for the Texas Fine Craft, Art, and Design show and the hangers on will be with me for the rest of my fall season: Bayou City Art Festival , Red River Revel Arts Festival , Austin Avenue Art Fair

I’m excited to share them with you all! Also, I have 22 but only count 21 here! I lose!

Say hi to Herbert! A whimsical dude who always shares his strawberries with his forest friends.
They thank him with acorns and four-leaf clovers, and he keeps every single one on his mantel.
Story by Alice, age 12, who names and writes for every doll I make. Herbert is a handmade, wired,
posable soft sculpture. Catch him at the Texas Fine Craft Art & Design Show in The Woodlands,
Sept 25–27!

Say hi to Gale! An artist who always finds the bright side. He skates around town tasting treats with
his buddies, then opens his sun purse full of art supplies and paints his heart out.
Story by Alice, age 12, who names and writes for every doll I make. Gale is a handmade, wired,
posable soft sculpture. Catch him at the Texas Fine Craft Art & Design Show in The Woodlands,
Sept 25–27!

Say hi to Montgomery! An outgoing frog in the boldest patterns around. He’s the
fashion designer for the woodland creatures, keeping every squirrel, bunny, and
hedgehog dressed to impress.
Story by Alice, age 12, who names and writes for every doll I make. Montgomery is a
handmade, wired, posable soft sculpture. Catch him at the Texas Fine Craft Art &
Design Show in The Woodlands, Sept 25–27!

This is Rosie! An ice cream chef who loves strawberry, vanilla, and her own creation,
Salted Caramel Choco Pretzel Trap. She hands out cones all day, with maybe a
sneaky spoonful for herself.
Written by my daughter Alice (12), my favorite collaborator. Rosie is a posable soft
sculpture wall doll and will be at the Texas Fine Craft Art & Design Show in The
Woodlands, Sept 25–27.

Meet Molly Mae! She’s a hairdresser who always goes bold, and she’s never had one
unhappy customer. That includes her cat, Snuffles, currently rocking a purple mohawk.
Story by my daughter Alice, age 12, who writes a life for every one of my wall dolls.
Molly Mae is a wired, posable soft sculpture, handmade in my Texas studio. Come
meet her at the Texas Fine Craft Art & Design Show in The Woodlands, Sept 25–27!

This is Cornelius! A jolly hot dog vendor on a round-the-world quest for the best
ketchup recipe ever. His smiling sun pockets hold his condiments, unless they’re full of
travel trinkets.
Written by my daughter Alice (12), my favorite collaborator. Cornelius is a posable soft
sculpture wall doll and will be at the Texas Fine Craft Art & Design Show in The
Woodlands, Sept 25–27.
