Cu***ng definitely didn’t go as planned. 💔⛈️
Yesterday, a storm rolled through the rodeo right before the gates opened and unfortunately our Battle Dress Apparel booth got wiped out. Between the booth, our inventory and displays getting tossed around, and even some damage to the truck, this weekend ended a whole lot differently than we expected.
We’ve gotten everything we could gathered up, loaded into the trailer, and we drove back home to Thomaston. Now we have to unload it all, sort through the mess, figure out exactly what was damaged, what can be saved, and start putting everything back together.
This is one of those sides of owning a small business that you don’t normally see on social media. Sometimes it’s cute clothes, packed booths, rodeo weekends and chasing a dream… and sometimes it’s standing in the aftermath of a storm looking at everything you worked so hard on scattered around you.
But we’re safe. The truck can be fixed. The booth can be rebuilt. Inventory can be replaced. And Battle Dress Apparel will keep going. This isn't the first time something like this has happened, but 8 years of doing events like this shows you just how much grit and grace it takes to own a business. 🤎
A HUGE thank you to everyone who jumped in to help us during and after the storm, checked on us, and helped us get everything gathered back up. We truly couldn’t be more thankful.

Now it’s time to assess the damage, clean up the mess, and get back at it.
