Knitting in the park today while I celebrate the end of the year for my middle kiddo. Just a note, the shop will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday June 17th as I attend multiple school events! Summer hours will start the week after next so stay tuned for that!

Since I have to rip back some of my shawl (see previous post), I decided to cast on something new to distract me before jumping back into my lace. I can always count on Wool & Pine to come up with something great for me to work on and their latest pattern drop did not disappoint! I cast on a Yarnkeeper vest to use up this mountain of Cottage DK cakes leftover from knitting up color swatches and let me tell you- this is bringing me joy! Nothing makes me happier than a pattern that lets me show off all the colors in this collection!

The pattern is available on Ravelry and the yarn is all available in my shop in Thomaston, Maine and of course online!

Oopsie! I got to the end and my stitch count is WAY wrong. Looks like I’ll be ripping back and re-doing all that lace! 🫠

Really it was so fun the first time, I just want to do it again. 🤪

Good morning! We are open today, tomorrow and Friday from 10-3 and I will also be here Saturday this week 12-4.

I made some serious progress on my Lovella Shawl this weekend! This pattern is addictive and the colors are a delight so it’s no surprise!

The pattern is an oldie but goodie by and is available on Ravelry.

The yarn is June’s Color of the Month Wisteria paired with the bonus colorway Silver Spring both on Plush DK.

I went to the today and didn’t take a single picture! Here is my haul- a giant basket to be my new car basket and a gorgeous Jacob fleece from !

I *almost* bought a drum carder from the used equipment barn, but it was a lot of money for not being quite what I wanted so the hunt continues.
