Rainy day here again. Time to clean shelves and boxes and find treasures. In California, I had a share in a felting machine, which was fun and challenging. Lots of alpaca fiber can turn into to pet beds, coasters, place mats, quilt batting, bottle coolers , and art. I discovered these lovelies in a tote I used to take to markets but never sold. I’ve hung them in my craft room to remind me to be ‘out there’ and explore beyond those comfort items that sell easily.

Come see me and the lovely hand-crafted alpaca products from my little herd. I'll be at Wagners Garden Center, 6024 Penn Ave. So., Minneapolis, MN 55419 on SATURDAYS ONLY from Nov. 4 - Dec . 16, 10am to 2pm. There will be lots of natural and hand-dyed yarns available as well as smaller holiday gift items.

Near Sawrey Farm Alpacas has moved to MINNESOTA. The herd will be in California until early spring of 2023, and then will come to enjoy green pastures. All handmade products, fleece, and yarn will be available after the end of August when our PODS arrive and the last stage of the move is complete.

Near Sawrey Farm Alpacas will be a vendor at the Ojai Valley Lavender Festival this year, Sat. June 24, joined by New Hope Alpacas. We’ll have lots of items to show how wonderful alpaca fiber is!

It's been a long, long time since there was anything to post about us. Like everyone else, time seems to have stood still, yet the days have passed. FINALLY, I can announce our booth will be at an event! Hurray! Note: Attendance will require a face mask and social distancing. Please come and see all the new alpaca items.
