Sharing skills I’ve learned over a lifetime and my love of couture with women who share a deep love and passion for sewing is deeply meaningful to me.

I’m so grateful to everyone who joined the retreat with such enthusiasm and love of sewing.

Heartfelt thanks to Peggy Sagers, creator of Fit 2 Stitch on PBS and organizer of this wonderful weekend retreat, for inviting me to teach and share what I love.

And, of course, no trip to Dallas is complete without inspiration from Stanley Korshak and the Dallas Museum of Art. Beautiful work, beautiful people and so much creative energy to bring home.

When we first met for her wedding gown consult, I noticed this beautiful tattoo on her arm.

She recently told me it was inspired by Taylor Swift’s Fearless album.

I couldn’t help but smile, she is walking into the most important chapter of her life with courage.

As we put the finishing touches on her gown for this late summer wedding, I can’t wait to see her shine as she walks down the aisle.
