I see these calendar plates often in antique stores, but when I spotted this one, I knew it had to come home with me. 1967 was the year our house was built, so what a fitting tribute, right? This is an Alfred Meakin calendar plate featuring the words, “ God bless this house throughout 1967.” Made in England, and the perfect complement to my other brown transferware. I think there are so many other ways to use these calendar plates, such as to honor birthdays, anniversaries, and other special years in your life.
