Well... we finally worked out the staffing issues and have NEW HOURS... Open M-Tu-W-F 8am-5pm, Saturdays 11am-4pm, and CLOSED THURSDAY & SUNDAY. Here's hoping all are having a great summer, and we stand ready to help out with New School Clothes and to take in suits, dresses, pants, etc after all the summer activity 😉

Looking Again....
Hi Folks... My shop Tailoring While U Wait in Toms River, NJ NEEDS a new counter person. If you or someone you know is interested, it's a starting pay of least $16/hr, and a chance to make more once you show mastery of the additional duties listed below. You need to work from mid-late morning thru 5pm the weekdays you work, and 9am to 3pm Saturday. In this job you need to know basic MS Office, and have general computer knowledge. Additional duties are measuring customers clothes, preparing work for tailors, ironing, hanging and sorting out clothes. WE WILL TRAIN for tailoring/fitting tasks, but you need to already have MS Office/general computer skills. We value productive workers who are willing to learn how to fit customers for the various alterations we do.
Days and hours other than Saturday are flexible, and it's a good working environment. Please message us here or call the store during business hours if you want to set up an interview: 732-244-0640
Also, if you know of any tailors/alterations sewing folks, please send them my way, too... always looking for those skills.

One time Drug Test at outside medical facility... we absolutely do NOT care if you smoke w**d... it is legal in NJ and not a concern to us, but we kinda sorta don't want someone on coke, he**in or m**h working the cash register. Just sayin'.

Updated Hours: We're currently expanding our hours again to be open M-W & F 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. THANKS.

Some updates: We're currently open M-W & F 8am-3pm. The reason we're NOT open later in the day or on Thursday & Saturday is that we desperately need at least one tailor (don't need to be high end... know how to sew the basics) and additional counter help. Counter help at least $15/hr. Please send anyone looking our way. THANKS.

DUE TO BEING SHORT STAFFED WITH THE CURRENT LACK OF WORKERS, AND BECAUSE OF PERSONAL EMERGENCIES, WE ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED FOR AT LEAST THE BEGINNING OF THIS WEEK THAT STARTS SEPT 27. IF YOU CAN WAIT ON PICKING UP YOUR CLOTHES, WE WILL BE EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR YOUR PATIENCE. IF GETTING YOUR CLOTHES IS CRUCIAL, PLEASE CALL THE NUMBER BELOW AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO FIGURE OUR A WAY TO SET UP A PICK-UP APPOINTMENT.
