I just had a conversation with a 5 year old (6 in a few weeks). She shows me a Christmas book and says she doesn’t know how to read it. My response is this…. “Well honey, reading takes work and practice. So….. if you want to read the words on the pages, you should watch less videos and open more books. The stories are so much better and you can make them your own. You can read them over and over again and depending on what’s in your mind & heart at the time, you can learn & imagine more and more and more…even though the words always stay the same”
I swear I saw the lightbulb above her head! 💡

Today is beautiful!
Blessed to be alive.
I was up early with a rejuvenated heart & quiet mind.
Had a fantastic book reading.
Followed by my kick ass podcast segment “Healthy Tips for Heathens” Men’s health episode. Catch the replay…. It’s worth it.
Then an entertaining interaction with a hot guy in a Corvette that I cut off. He he he…. my smile turned his frown upside down. 😜
Next, I had an impromptu visit to my guys at the fire station I used to work for. It was really great to reconnect with them.
Finally being of service to very deserving young person that needs a little bit of help.
Now back at home. My pup-monster is reminding me how much she loves me.
Life is good. I’m happy to be a part of it .
My cup is full today. ☕️
