My Filipino immigrant Mom comes to mind when I read this (and maybe for many of you?).

I’m still learning things from her past that she’s experienced with grace and resilience; the endless sacrifices she’s made; while still having the biggest, most beautiful heart open for us feel safe in. ♥️

As PINAYS, I know most of us grew up in Catholic households and many still regularly go to church. I also know not all (active) Catholics are celebrating this atrocious SCOTUS decision. ✨

I implore my fellow PINAYS to open yourselves to having tough conversations with your families - especially those espousing religious “reasoning” - about the Roe v Wade decision and its destructive affect/effects on WOMEN’s & HUMAN RIGHTS. ✨

Our Earth Day baby is not a baby anymore. This beautiful boy stole my heart a dozen years ago and has yet to return it!💯 I wish I had more Tita jokes to embarrass him with on this post, but he’s literally in front of me as I’m creating this and I just want to squeeze him; he’s so lovable! ❤️

XBoo, I can speak for your other Tita (Melanee) that being your Aunt is without a doubt one of the best things to happen to us! We LOVE you my sweet soccer playing, snow/skateboarding, funny, smart, inquisitive and sensitive boy! The world is yours! Shine your light always! ❤️
