I give quilting classes on domestic machines, sewing classes and much more.

It has been a while since I’ve had a chance to post. Our main business (feedlot) has been extremely busy. We’ve moved, put in a new home and now live 4 miles to our main yard and about 2 miles to the second yard. Yep life has been a bit crazy. My new sewing studio is absolutely fantastic!! My husband would allow me to have a room in the house SOOOO he suggested my own area, who in their right mind would turn that down!!?? I got a 14x38 building attached to our house!! It’s fantastic!!

I have missed you. We have been fortunate enough to bring our son and his family back to the area. Our son has come aboard to help at the feedlot a year ago and we stay pretty busy. We had to make another huge change. We sold our place north of Henry and moved closer to our feedlot. Right now we are RVin, until our house is ready.

As many of you already know... in October my husband decided to slow down and work for himself. Well as many of you know when your husband makes a decision it involves YOU! I have had to make a very difficult decision and let my quilting business set on a back burner to help him. I am driving feed truck, keeping books, cleaning tanks, processing and doctoring (life is all about health calves). I won’t be taking in quilts for the time being! I really appreciate all the support you’ve given over the years!!💕💕

Life is full of changes.. as many of you know 2020 has been challenging and changes. Our lives have changed dramatically...God has given us an opportunity we never thought we’d get, but He has shown us otherwise. With this change you will see my quilting posts being slow! This has been my husband’s dream and I am his helper, soooo I’m learning to drive feedtruck efficiently and feed 3000 little mouths! 9 years ago I tried a hankie memory quilt... made 3 wall Hangings and quilted a vintage quilt for a customer!

As many of you know... quilting isn’t my only job. Cattle happen to be our main source of income (priority)
So as you may know this is a busy time with milk cows and calves, but we have been busy putting in ties and continuous fence!!
