A small business owner’s worst nightmare…
Early this morning, our storefront was broken into.
I’m not one to share negative things on social media, but this one hurts.
As a small business owner, moments like these are incredibly difficult. You pour your heart, time, energy, and resources into building something, and in a matter of minutes it can be damaged by someone else’s actions.
Thankfully, no one was hurt and only material items were stolen. We’re doing our best to stay positive and thank God that it wasn’t worse.
A huge thank you to Tracy PD for being so responsive, kind, and helpful throughout this process. And to my husband, thank you for being my rock this morning and helping me navigate all of the next steps.
We are fortunate that this is the first time we’ve had to experience something like this, but that doesn’t make it any easier. Today has been tough, overwhelming, and emotionally draining.
If there’s one thing this experience has reminded me, it’s how important it is to support small businesses. Behind every storefront is a family, a dream, and countless hours of hard work.
Please continue to shop small and support local businesses. It truly matters more than ever. ❤️
We are typically closed on Mondays, so today’s closure does not affect our normal business hours. However, due to the break-in and the damage to our storefront, we’re still assessing the situation and working through the next steps.
At this time, we’re unsure if we’ll be able to reopen on Tuesday. We will keep everyone updated as we learn more and will post an update as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during this time. We appreciate our community more than you know. ❤️
