Hi friends 👋 I’m Heather — the girl behind Hello Friends. 🩷
There are so many of you here who have found us through Facebook, Instagram, our app, a friend, or maybe by walking past our little storefront downtown… and I realized you might know Hello Friends without really knowing the person behind it.
So, hi. ☺️
I’m a wife, a mom of three, Traverse City born + raised, and somehow I’ve been doing this whole small business thing for almost 11 years now.
What started as something I could never have imagined turning into this is now an online boutique, a storefront in the heart of my hometown, an amazing group of girls I get to work alongside, and this pretty incredible community of women who shop with us from right here in TC and all over the country.
And yes, I LOVE cute clothes. 😂 But Hello Friends has always been about more than that to me.
I want women to walk through our doors — or open a package from us hundreds of miles away — and feel like they’re shopping with a friend. I want getting dressed to feel fun. I want women of different ages, shapes and sizes to feel like there’s something here for them.
And somewhere along the way, I think I got so busy running Hello Friends that I stopped sharing much of the story behind it.
I want to change that. 🩷
So every once in a while, I’m going to pop in here and share a little more of the people, the story, the behind-the-scenes and the real life that make Hello Friends what it is.
