One of my favorite custom bridal projects 🤍

Creating Lacey’s wedding gown and veil was such a special experience. Her veil featured tulle from her mom’s and aunts’ wedding veils, finished with lace from her grandmother’s wedding dress. I love that we were able to incorporate so many meaningful family heirlooms into her bridal look.

There’s something so special about creating a gown or veil that is completely your own and tells a story.

Sarah’s wedding day included more than just something borrowed — she carried a piece of her mom with her in so many different ways. 🤍

Her mother’s wedding dress was transformed into a beautiful reception dress for Sarah to wear, and we were able to use the remaining dress to create a custom ring bearer pillow, two handkerchiefs, and her flower sash.

If wearing your mother’s wedding dress isn’t quite what you have in mind, there are still so many beautiful ways to incorporate it into your wedding day. A handkerchief, ring bearer pillow, flower sash, or another special keepsake can give the dress a whole new purpose while still keeping its history close.

I love being able to take a dress that has already been part of one love story and create pieces that become part of the next. 🤍

Erin wore her mom’s wedding dress on her own wedding day, with just a few small changes to make it feel like her own.

We removed the sleeves and made a few adjustments to update the look while keeping the beauty and character of the original gown.

I love getting to work on pieces like this. 🤍

Finished with French Alencon lace and a scalloped edge, this veil was the perfect combination of timeless and unique.

Not every heirloom dress needs a complete redesign. Sometimes, the smallest changes make the biggest impact.

For Ansley, her mom's wedding dress needed just a few alterations and a hem to the lining to create the perfect rehearsal dinner dress.

I love finding ways to preserve the beauty of an original gown while tailoring it to fit a new chapter. Every dress is different, and every redesign is just as unique as the bride wearing it.

For my little cousin, Parish’s wedding, I had the honor of transforming her mom’s wedding dress into a reception dress for her to wear on her own wedding day.

Giving new life to a wedding dress and carrying its story into the next generation is something truly special. ✨
