The Great Race is coming to Albuquerque! This event is one of the world's premier vintage car rallies, with more than 120 antique automobiles traveling 2,300 miles across the United States. See rare cars from 1913-1974, alongside local Albuquerque automobiles, in a celebration of car culture and the Route 66 Centennial.

It's free and family-friendly. The event takes place June 24th, 4 p.m., at Balloon Fiesta Park. Don't miss it!

Last year I pulled into Caballo Lake State Park not really knowing what to expect.

I left a week later not wanting to go home.

Chile Challenge4x4 is one of those events that sounds cool on paper until you actually experience it and then you realize the paper doesn't do it justice.

The trails, the mountains, the people, a potluck that somehow keeps getting better every year.

The organization alone puts events twice its size to shame.

I spent an entire week down there last year. Came early, stayed late, shot more video than I knew what to do with.
