In the 1940’s, Norwegians made and wore red pointed hats with a tassel as a form of visual protest against N**i occupation of their country. Within two years, the N**is made these protest hats illegal and punishable by law to wear, make, or distribute. As purveyors of traditional craft, we felt it appropriate to revisit this design.

The sample shown was knit in Blue Sky Fibers Skyland for the DK version.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern go to the immigrant aid agencies who will distribute the funds to those impacted by the actions of ICE.

Approximately 200 yards of RED yarn of your choice in fi*****ng, DK or Worsted. Pattern available and on Ravelry. Knitting helps.

This woman worked her tail off this weekend at the ! She packed us in and packed us out! She set up our tent then helped unload the van and set up the booth with me. She ran charges, talked with our wonderful customers, got us food, packed up our tent and booth then helped drive us home! All in her days off! What a friend❤️❤️❤️
