It is with great sadness that I inform you of the recent passing of my friend Jan Munger. She was a remarkable businesswoman who made “The Country Shop” a charming and successful destination store to visit when in Tubac. She was my landlady who supported me and gave me words of encouragement when I opened Gypsy Cowgirl twelve years ago. We often had dinner together and would catch up on the news (and gossip) of our small town. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a great storyteller. She loved talking about her family and was proud of each and every one of them. Most of all, she was a dear friend. I am grateful to have known her and proud to be a member of her fan club.
