Good day friends of Crestwood Shoe Repair! Hope you and your loved ones are doing well and this is just a friendly reminder to come visit us at the store for all of your shoe repair needs. Now is the season to waterproof the boots and shoes and stock up on umbrellas and check out our new leather good items. We restring baseball gloves and repair most sports apparel and items. What is the work of a Shoemaker like?
Years ago, it was common for small-scale businesses to live and work in the same house. The house of the shoemaker, or cordwainer, was similar to other artisans. He was usually not wealthy enough to own a house so rented the first floor of a residence where he housed and fed his family and also made and repaired shoes and leather goods. This is FRANK THE SHOEMAKER!!
In modern times, a shoemaker typically works out of a shop in a community, providing his services to the local people in the area. Frank has been in the same location for almost 50 years!! The work often involves standing for many hours at a work bench, so you will always find him at that shop with a hammer in his hand and a smile on his face !
From a simple shoe shine to reupholstering a leather canvas chair, you can always count on Crestwood Shoe Repair to fix almost anything !

Come visit Frank The Shoemaker and staff Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturdays 7am to 6pm. And believe me, you will catch him there on Sundays too always cleaning or fixing something!
