For almost 30 years we have defined the term "art to wear" with our truly unique and expressive designs. Our gowns and garments are created using many re-purposed and upcycled materials ... vintage lace tablecloths, rescued elements from antique gowns, antique and vintage laces of all kinds, trims, baubles and beads. The majority of our pieces are made from pure inspiration, but we do occasionally
create custom pieces. The name Hippie Bride came out of a desire to create with no inhibitions. Hippie Bride consists of two best friends that have been in business together for well over twenty years, Nina Sands and Robyn Meek. We had a retail shop in Atlanta for several years named Opulent Creations. Now we live the phrase, "Cottage Industry," making everything by hand in a 1936 red brick cottage. We are both Reiki Masters and pour our hearts and the energy of Love into everything we create. We love using elements that by themselves are unusable and transforming them into something new and one of a kind. There is something special about wearing a piece that is just for you alone. We want to help you create your version of how you want to look and feel for your ceremony ... whatever kind of ceremony that may be.
