It took almost 40 hours of work - hand cutting, hand sewing, edge painting - but it was well worth it. Its boxy shape is inspired by the beautiful geometry of the alligator scales Thank you to for her class on pattern making and for taking this beautiful alligator to the trade show in Prescott, Arizona where I simply had to have it.

I asked this alligator what it wanted to be and, it told me that it wants to be a beautiful, one of a kind handbag. I think I will grant it its wish. Can't wait to start this tomorrow!

Well, would you look at that! I accidentally made this prototype eyeglass case out of leathers that match my watch band and wallet! In all seriousness, I can't wait to start a production run of these eyeglass case holders this week. This second prototype has a couple of changes that I need to make before it's ready for customers, but that'll happen in the production! Can't wait to get these to next weekend!

If you sneak in five minutes here and ten minutes there between client work, you eventually have enough time to make yourself a python leather watch strap. I've only gotten leather from a few times, but working with their stuff never gets old.
