EssMD Creations makes handmade, custom designed, fashionable baby items that family wants to glam their babe out with!

We strive to use earth friendly fabrics and products so that baby and family feel good about their purchase. For years I have enjoyed sewing custom items for friends and family. I have often heard that my blankets are "like no other" and that many of the babes that snuggle in my blankets "won't use any others or leave home without them!"
I think that is the greatest compliment of all because each

blanket, lovey and burp cloth I make is made with love and passion for the end product. I make them tagless and "movable" because I have sensitive babies of my own and a blanket should be straightforward and uncomplicated for true snuggle satisfaction! I hope that you will try one for yourself or buy one to pass on because you will be giving a unique, one of a kind, item that will last and last.

Our Story

Welcome to my dream and my therapy! I am a Mama, a maker, an educator, a therapist, a program coordinator, business owner and goofball all rolled into one! When it comes down to it, there isn’t one thing I do in my life that isn’t done out of LOVE and with my heart on my sleeve.

I have been a maker as long as I can remember, it’s an innate part of me that my supportive husband, puts up with😍! I have been sewing for more years than I would like to admit, but began making gifts for new mamas about 10 years ago after I needed to make items for my sensitive boys. Four years ago, I began EssMD Creations and these items are now a part of my “blissful line” of products, which includes blankets in various sizes and burp cloths that won’t bother a sensitive baby’s skin. My products have grown to include gifts for the whole family, because in my mind, if the family is strong then the baby is one, (or two, or three) content tot! Since the beginning of EssMD Creations, I have branched out into baby bonnets, gratitude jars and various other mindfulness based products.

Moral of this beautiful story of mine? I really do hope that you enjoy my products I have so gladly made for you to give as gifts or keep for your own!
