This would make a delish gift for friends & family!

With a little planning and preparation, you can make something special that is 100% guilt free, like this Holiday Crackle recipe. The results are so yummy — a perfect blend of sweet and salty, and there’s no added sugar or traditional flour.

Holiday Crackle
Ingredients:

Base & Caramel
1 ½ cups of almond flour
¼ cup arrowroot flour
¼ tsp sea salt
1 large egg, whisked
4 tsp water, divided
1 ¼ cups

Now Real Food organic monk fruit 1:1 sugar replacement:

¼ cup cold organic, salted butter cubed

Topping:

5 oz. unsweetened dark chocolate, chopped
1 tbsp

Now Real Food organic monk fruit 1:1 sugar replacement

½ cup toasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Cut 2 11 x 15-inch sheets of parchment paper. Set aside.
2. Prepare the base: In a small bowl, whisk together almond four, arrowroot, and salt. Add egg and one-half of water and stir together to form a dough. Scrape onto one sheet of parchment and place the second sheet on top. Roll out into a 9 x 13-inch rectangle and transfer to a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Peel off the top sheet of parchment. Bake for 10 minutes, until lightly golden.
3. Prepare the caramel: To a medium saucepan on medium heat, add monk fruit sweetener and remaining one-half of water. Once sweetener has dissolved, increase heat to medium-high and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, until it reaches a light golden color. (NOTE: You may notice some evaporation coming out of the saucepan; keep your exhaust fan on.) Turn off heat; cool for 3 minutes. Carefully whisk in butter, 1 cube at a time. Pour over crust. Set aside to cool for 15 minutes, until set.
4. Prepare chocolate top: Bring a small pot of water to a simmer and place chocolate in a heat-proof bowl set over top. Add remaining monk fruit sweetener, stirring until chocolate is melted and sweetener is dissolved. Pour chocolate over the top of the caramel in a baking dish, spreading with a spatula. Sprinkle with pepitas.
5. Refrigerate for 40 minutes, until fully set. Break into pieces and pack them into containers.

Here are 6 tips to help you set the tone for a stress free day! When I stick to this routine...it really does make my day run more smoothly.

Take a few minutes before you go to bed to write down the things you really need to accomplish the next day. It just seems to work so much better than waiting until the morning...because once the morning gets going, then planning usually doesn't get done. And for me, that means the day tends to be more scattered than it is focused and productive.

Make your bed. It doesn't really sound like something that would make much difference in how your day goes...but, it does! This is a fast, easy way to begin the day with an accomplishment. Not to mention your room will look so much neater😀

Do you have the habit of reaching for your phone when you first wake up? This is a sure way to disrupt your routine, because we then usually spend 30 minutes scrolling, reading depressing news and then feeling guilty that we just wasted that 30+minutes! So, make it a habit to put that phone on hold until you've accomplished more important things.

Drink a glass of water. Our bodies are 50-60% water and need to be hydrated! You may as well get started on that ½ your body weight in ounces of water first thing!

Set aside time for a few quiet minutes for prayer, meditation and reading something inspirational/motivational to help begin your day with a positive mindset.

Eat something healthy. Your body needs to be fueled for the day. Research shows that if we eat something healthy for breakfast, we are much less likely to eat "unhealthy" later in the day + eat more than we should.

Did you know those little chia seeds are packed with superfood nutritional value?

Chia seeds are a great source for protein, fiber, antioxidants & rich in vitamins!

They are beneficial in helping with weight loss, healthy digestion, managing blood sugar levels, cardiovascular health, increase energy, boost our mood & build strong bones!

And, they are so easy to add to our diet… sprinkled on cereal, in baked goods, smoothies, casseroles, yogurt, puddings, on fruit, energy bars, on salads & soups! Here is an easy 3 ingredient recipe to try….

2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice
1 tsp honey or other sweetener

(For chocolate pudding, mix in 1 tbsp cacao or cocoa powder)

Strawberries, other fruits, nuts for topping

Pour ingredients into a mason jar, other than toppings, and mix well.

Let settle for 2-3 minutes then mix again very well until no clumps!

Cover the jar and store in fridge for at least 2 hours.

Top with the toppings of your choice!

Don't buy stuff just because you want it.
Thoughts are not always truth.
Time is valuable. Don't waste it.
You can't change others, only yourself.
Let go of expectations.
It's not about you.
Never be ashamed of who you are. Be yourself.
