Chinook Footwear was established in 1988 by 5th-generation Oregonians. Growing up during the 1960s and 1970s, nestled between the Cascade Mountain range and the Oregon Coast, the timber and sawmill industries thrived. Despite the hard work that came with these industries, people made time for leisure and recreation, such as hunting, fishing, and hiking. We continue to enjoy the great outdoors and

all that this region offers. We’ve built Chinook Footwear based on our values of respect for hard work, integrity, self-sufficiency, and supporting our community. Our team collaborates to design, create, and produce products we’re proud of. We build boots that work for the person wearing them or lacing them up.” (Let me know which one: wearing or lacing (not both.) – Founder, Rob Scofield. Our team is committed to our craft. Our office attire consists of Jeans, T-shirts, and sweatshirts. We’ve been doing “grunge” for 30 years before it was cool. LOL. But that’s the Northwest, not just us. We call ourselves “the biggest shoe brand that nobody has ever heard of.”

We’ve been manufacturing for over three decades, making millions of pairs of Chinook Footwear. Oddly enough, the Chinook Brand is only well-known in the Pacific Northwest. We plan to expand across the USA within the next three decades. As Chinook Footwear grows, our hardworking team is dedicated to producing quality products that we proudly stand behind.
