These are the Halloween Costumes I made for the kids last year. We wanted to increase visibility so I integrated LED lights into both of them.
Andrew is a Skylanders fan so he was Superstar Jet Vac. It has very bright LED stars on the front, and though it doesn't show in this picture, the jet pack lights up with blue light on the back. It's built into a black jumpsuit that zips in the front. The jet pack fastens with snap buckles to make it easier to get in and out of the car. The helmet and mask have glow in the dark accents. It's a boys size 7/8, and takes 3 AA batteries.
Bethany's fairy princess dress and wings are lined with warm white LEDs that blink but we preferred the steady on to the flashing lights. The dress zips up the center back and the wings are a separate piece, also for ease of travel. It is a girl's size 4 and takes 6 AA batteries (3 in each set of lights).
Both costumes are available, and both won first place in 2 different costume competitions for their age categories. Please message me if you're interested.
This year's Halloween costume plans include Invincible Super Mario with multicolored twinkle lights and LED stars, Queen Elsa with bright white LED snowflakes and lights, and Sarah will make her trick-or-treating debut as a Bumble bee with flower shaped LEDs and yellow electroluminescent wire. Will post those as soon as they're finished.
I love costume season!!!
