We traveled to Manning for a gorgeous lakefront mahj101 morning with mahjong called so many times we lost count! 🤩 This group of ladies get together regularly and let me tell you, Natalie Bradley Barwick is the hostess with the mostest! They had a full brunch spread, the cutest surcies, the most laughter, the best questions, and were all around such a fun group to teach! Check out these photos that had us in full spring vibes all morning long - how could we not be with this view?!

Raise your hand if you’re OBSESSED with mahjong and have played 5 days out of the last 7. 🙋🏼‍♀️😬🤭 We’re hearing 🀄️MAHJONG🀄️ in our sleep after a week packed with mahj101 + mahj102! 🤩 We’ve had the opportunity to host the sweetest mom + daughter combos who brought their friends along for the fun this week!

• Mahj101 is designed to build a base knowledge of mahjong while teaching the tiles and playing card and working through a few games together - it’s perfect for beginners and we take it slow!
• Mahj102 builds on basic mahjong knowledge and dives deeper into strategy & variations of game play. These ladies wanted to learn 3-person and siamese games and they crushed it!

MARCH MADNESS is almost here and it’s bringing new opportunities to join our mahjong tables! We’ll end the month with an open play so you can meet new friends, share lots of laughter, win fabulous prizes, and call MAHJONG (of course 😉)!

Mahj101 will explore the basics of game setup, reading the playing card and tiles, playing card strategies, and include a round or two of guided game play. It’s the perfect way for those with little to no knowledge of the game to learn & join in around the table!

Proud moment 🥹 - we’re taking a minute to brag on our newest players! Our ladies are now ready to play fully independently in pairs or with Bob or Linda! They’ve been so helpful and patient with each other as we’ve navigated through their questions, little mistakes, mahjong calls, and learning how to strategize. We couldn’t be more proud that they’re ready to pull up a seat at any table and call mahjong!

• Mahj101 is PERFECT for those brand new to the game with little to no knowledge or experience. We’ll start from the very beginning and you’ll be calling MAHJONG before you know it!

• Mahj102 is the confidence builder! You’ll experience mostly independent game play with a little guidance and strategy thrown into the mix. When you leave 102, you’re ready to pull up at seat at open play!
