Kids and dogs had fun! We made a couple of new friends. We had a lot of fun Paddleboarding. There is a bridge around to the right and you can go under it to the other side. I didn't bring a pole but we did see some fish jumping as well. Great spot that I highly recommend!

We hope to see you at the next event. Fyi the hot honey chicken was Fire.

Also, we have started the county wide food drive so please remember to drop off food items for those in need!

Squatting Toad Food Drive is in progress. I apologize to the community for the delays. I was pretty ill for a minute there. All better now and focused on helping!

I have received calls from various people letting me know first hand about their food shortage due to cuts from the government. Before the haters start to say these are lazy people who don't work, let me enlighten you. One lady was a disabled woman in her 60's who worked her lifetime before becoming disabled. She received $16 dollars for food. 1 was a single mom who currently works in our community full time and is raising 3 kids. She was cut off completely because she works so although it is not a livable wage it is now more than she is allowed to make. Fyi if she chose to not work and be lazy she could get more. She chooses to set a solid example for her children and just needs help because of our horrible economy. I also heard from a veteran who said he was cut significantly. He did not give a dollar amount. So these are the people who have fought for our country. These are our elders who have worked already a lifetime, these are our mothers and fathers who work but just don't make enough. These are the children of our community! Please, I know personally how hard it is right now for all of us, but in these tough times we have to come together. Stay strong as a community and help those who have even less than we do!

Thank you to these local establishments for continuing to be a beacon of hope for those in need! Thank you to all those that will help out!

Alright everyone has been asking when the next event is so here you go: Remember it is free to everyone! This trip we will be where there is paid forest service camp spots as well as a little down rd free camping. The butcher boxes of meat are securely in the freezer. We will be at the river so water activities from swimming to fishing and more! Tim is bringing the side by side for some off road fun. It will be relaxing fun.
