🗓️ MARK YOUR CALENDARS: NOVEMBER CLUB MEETING & 2-DAY TOURNAMENT! 🗓️
Hey ETBA Crew here is what we have coming up in November with our final two-day tournament of the year. Here is everything you need to know to get locked in and ready:
📆 Monthly Club Meeting
• When: Tuesday, November 3rd @ 7:00 PM
• Where: Papacitas Restaurant (6704 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX)
• On the Agenda: Along with finalizing our launch schedules, we will be discussing the upcoming rule change propositions. Your input matters, so make sure you are there to make your voice heard! Will be voting
🎣 The November 2-Day Tournament
• When: Saturday, November 7th & Sunday, November 8th
• Lake: Lake Texoma
• Ramp: South Dam Boat Ramp
⚠️ Important 2-Day Rules Reminder (via ETBA Rules):
Per the official East Texas Bass Association Bylaws, two-day events are designed slightly differently to shake up the standings:
1. Entry Fees: Registration for this event is $50.00 to fish one day, or $55.00 to fish both days. Optional Big Bass Pot 5 dollars a day. Half weight 5 dollars.
2. Big Bass Pots: Because of the extra $5.00 multi-day fee, the 2-day tournament will pay out a Big Bass place for each separate day!
3. Your Heavy Bag Counts: You can choose to fish Saturday, Sunday, or both. If you fish both, only your single best day's stringer total will be counted toward your tournament weight.
4. Extended Trailering: Trailer time is officially extended to 1 hour for this event.
🏡 Lodging & Accommodations:
For those traveling out, a group of us have already locked down a great place to stay right across the border at the Do Drop Inn in Oklahoma! If you still need a room, reach out to other members at the meeting to sync up on booking before everything fills up.

We had a great turnout on the water with 14 tournament entries battling it out this month! Big congratulations to all our winners who figured out the bite and brought some solid sacks to the scales.

🚨 ATTENTION ETBA MEMBERS: CRITICAL MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT! 🚨
We need everyone to show up tomorrow night, Tuesday, October 6th at 7:00 PM, at Papacita's Mexican Restaurant (6704 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, TX). This is arguably the most important meeting of the year, and your attendance is highly critical!
Here is why you cannot miss it:
• Proposed Rule & By-Law Changes: The official East Texas Bass Association Rules and Bylaws dictate that the October meeting is the designated window to introduce new ideas.
• Must Be in Writing: If you want to propose any rule changes or amendments, you must bring them completely written out on paper. We will hold a brief open-floor discussion on these items. Remember, anything submitted tomorrow will be discussed further in November and officially voted on by the members in December. If it isn't on paper tomorrow, it won't be considered!
• Lake List Updates: We will be updating and discussing the tournament lake list schedules, making adjustments to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Earn Your Attendance Points: Don't forget that showing up secures you 3 essential meeting points to boost your yearly club standings.

• Meeting Attendance Pounds: Remember, just by showing up and being present at this regular monthly meeting, you automatically earn 3 vital meeting pounds toward your Angler of the Year total standings! Every pound counts, so don't leave these points on the table.

Lake Fork 2026 Results are in, started out a nice day and by Lunch the Heat was on. Thanks to everyone that came and fished with us, look forward to seeing everyone next month.

1st Place J.W. Parker w/ 10.49lbs [email protected]
2nd Place Tony Goodman w/ 7.14lbs
3rd Place Tyler Smith w/ 6.40lbs

Half Weight pot was a tie Paul Gibbons over the weight by .295lbs and Riikina Langford .295 under the 5.245lbs. According to SECTION E:
The Payout For Half Weight will payout 1 spot to whoever catches half or closet to half the weight of 1st Place that does not place in the top 3. In the event of a tie. It will go to the closet under the half weight. If both are tied under the half weight. It will be a coin flip. So winner of the half weight pot is Riikina Langford w/ 4.95lbs who I'd also like to mention out fished her hubby in the same boat....
