After years of making comfortable, playful gowns for her daughter growing up and seeing how much she adored them, Cat Stovall decided to spread the idea. In 2007 she launched Twirligirli with the objective of donating the gowns to girls in need. With the help of sponsors, Twirligirli has gifted gowns to burn victims at Shriners Hospital, orphaned girls in Tanzania, Kenya, Ghana, and girls sufferin

g from the stresses of hurricane-stricken Galveston, TX in 2008. "A twirl can help a girl" is still the underlying philosophy, and profits from the gowns sold here go to provide girls in need with twirligirli gowns. A new line of Courage Capes for kids launched in 2012 aims to give kids a boost of bravery when they need it most. Made for boys and girls alike, each cape has a unique personality and powerful lightening bolt symbol to provide the courage of a superhero.
