Last night our workshop was filled with laughter, creativity, great conversation, and a few beautiful wine glasses! While everyone enjoyed charcuterie and sipped as they painted, each guest created a one-of-a-kind stemless wine glass—some inspired by America’s 250th birthday and others by their own unique style.

One of the sweetest surprises of the evening? One guest arrived thinking she was simply attending a paint night and surprised it was a birthday gift planned just for her. That made the night even more special!

Sometimes the best part of these gatherings isn’t the project—it’s the stories shared around the table, the friendships strengthened, and the chance to slow down and simply enjoy being together.

Thank you to these wonderful ladies for spending your evening with us. We had so much fun hosting you and can’t wait to do it again! ❤️🤍💙

Most people know me as the owner of Farmgirl Pickings, but another part of my heart belongs to agriculture and conservation.

I’m honored to serve as a board member with the Yakima Klickitat Farm Association and as Board Chair of the North Yakima Conservation District. Together, these roles allow me to support the farmers and ranchers who care for the land that feeds our communities and drives the economy of the Yakima Valley.

This short video with NYCD manager Mike Tobin explains the origins of conservation districts following the Dust Bowl and why their mission remains so important today. I’m proud to be part of organizations that champion local solutions, responsible stewardship, and a strong future for agriculture.
