Tonight is why i made this event three days long. My weather app tells me there are lulls in the rain, so use good judgment and I'll be here at this trunk show until 9pm. its been a great experience seeing many of my customers again, and i can't wait to make and deliver the special things you want custom ordered.

I’m so pleased we had such a great turnout last night. So many of you gave me such good feedback on what you love to wear and what you want to See coming from National Picnic Moving forward! That’s what this trunk show is all about. And I get to share the space with some very creative friends! Tonight might be Linda’s final night with her leather goods. Trunk shows, by definition, typically debut new styles for the coming season that guests can have made to order. I’m bringing this blouse style to the trunk show and a whole lot of textiles to choose from. I’m taking orders at the show -- have one made for you in your size!

I have so many awesome pieces of fabric you can choose from! I can't wait to show you, and I can’t wait to build the feature to offer the same to my online peeps.

Turning the lights back on! Ending the hiatus! Let the social media airways crackle with life once more! I’m going to enjoy making again!

Starting with this trunk show. Appearances by fellow makers , Josie Cook and (possibly) Linda Figliola. Stay tuned.

I'm putting the brand back together...

It's been 2 years since National Picnic took a big step back from making clothes and, well, as the owner/designer/maker, I really miss it. Who else is missing it?

The first challenge is to sew up all my existing fabrics and clear the way for new. A trunk show is in order!

(I have lots - and also styles that were paused mid-production that I'm finishing and taking to the trunk show)

If you're local, hope you can make it to this jump start of an event for National Picnic's second act. Leftovers will make it to the website by fall. I'll be building it this time around to be a sustainable side gig--so thanks for being patient, stay tuned, and watch for updates :)

We can't share a tent at Clover Market in person today but you can find these things at the virtual Clover market (happening on Facebook until 4pm today) The two of us showing our work, more of the top we are both wearing, the bracelet I'd pair with it, and dozens more local vendors improvising with us due to the rainout.

Both the top and bracelet can also be found on our respective e-shops, of course.
