About 685 Designs I started racing BMX in 1981 when I was fourteen and ended up racing for 32 years. With all the success I have had in this great sport comes defeat and injuries.I have broken my wrist, foot, collar bone, and even separated my shoulder. That did not stop me or keep me down from doing something that I love, but Multiple Sclerosis did end my BMX racing career. Multiple Sclerosis has taken away all my strong points that I relied on for so many years. It has taken away my strength, endurance, balance, and my smooth, coordinated moves. Although Multiple Sclerosis has taken away something that I love to do, if it was not for all the traits I had to develop over the years to become a good BMX racer, I would not have the valuable strength to battle this extraordinarily terrible disease. BMX racing has taught me the tenacity, fortitude, and the never die attitude necessary to succeed in this world. I owe everything to BMX racing and all the people that I have met along the way. Since being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I realized that I will never be the BMX racer that I once was. I miss racing BMX more than anything, but I’m still involved, still see all my BMX friends, and still get my BMX fix. I have created a clothing line that is geared toward the BMX community. My clothing line keeps me active in this amazing sport and helps me focus on selling my clothing instead of on my past BMX racing success. I hope you enjoy my clothing as much as I enjoy creating and selling 685 Designs. Now let’s go out there and kick some BMX ass!
