Happy September! There's something I love about this month. The routines settle back in. The mornings finally cool off. And there's a sense that we're all leaning into the season together.
September is a quieter month for There Is Hope, and honestly, it's one of my favorites. It's the season where the foundation gets poured before the busy months arrive. And none of it happens without friends like you.
Let me walk you through where things stand and where we're headed. No pressure. Just a friendly look at the road ahead.

Every dollar helps get closer to
30 new families in 2027!
Here's the shape of it. There Is Hope is the three-year program that carries families from crisis toward stability. Today 44 families are active — 20 in Year 1, 16 in Year 2, 8 in Year 3 — and each one receives real monthly support: gas cards, grocery cards, and thrift store vouchers for clothing and shoes.
The commitment behind it stays the same: ALOG covers the shopping. You cover the food and gas. That's the deal. ALOG's thrift store profits fund the clothing and shoe vouchers, so every donated dollar goes only toward gas and groceries for a Year 1 family. 100% of donations go directly to families. No overhead. No middle.
The goal this year is 30 new families for 2027 — a $72,000 commitment. Between now and December 31, you'll watch that number move, and September is where the early momentum turns into real ground gained.
One more thing worth marking on your calendar: October brings news that changes how this whole campaign works. More on that soon. For now, September is about the families already counting on the yes.
